Benzino shot At His Mother's Funeral

...says he was embarrassed than anything from his hospital bed, following Saturday's shooting.


The rapper and "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" star was shot by his nephew on Saturday while he was driving in a funeral procession for his mother, who passed away last week. Benzino who was at one point described as being in "critical condition" appeared to be making a full recovery in his first video interview since the shooting.

He said, "I'm good, I got shot in my arm. I got shot twice — one of the bullets grazed my back and one here," Benzino told Boston-based media outlet NEHip-Hop from his hospital bed, pointing to his right arm. "I got to do some physical therapy for a while on my hand, but I'm alright."

According to reports, Benzino was driving southbound on Route 3 in Duxbury, Massachusetts, when his nephew, 36-year-old Gai Scott, pulled up alongside his SUV and fired several shots. The gunman was arrested and charged with armed assault with intent to murder.

Ice Prince signs A new deal with Universal Music Group.

News filtering in says Panchak Zamani, a.k.a Ice Prince, has signed a deal with the biggest music corporation in the world, Universal Music Group.

The Nigerian rapper said he signed the deal recently with the world record label Universal Music Group. Ice Prince said the official announcement will be made very soon.

According to him, the deal will begin first with his track ‘I Swear’ track, which will be licensed in the UK, after which other tracks will follow.

Universal Music Group is the largest music corporation in the world.

Report says Davido’s performance was halted midway by the police and New York fire department because of safety concerns.
on Friday March 28th was closed down by the New York Police Department (NYPD).

The venue in Brooklyn was overbooked.

The Nigerian singer has since issued an apology to his fans for the incident. He is set to perform in Dallas on 4 April and Toronto on 5 April, 2014.

Nollywood actress, Biola Ige, and Enugu-based actor, Muna Obiekewe, have not been resting easy since a picture, portraying the two Thespians allegedly smooching, with Muna sucking Biola’s boobs went viral online.

Last week, Biola explained that what appeared in the picture must have been a computer manipulation. According to her, the scene never took place, during, before or after shooting of the film ‘Pregnant Hawkers’.

Muna said Love making scenes are normal in movies. When we   see them in foreign movies it’s nothing. But when it’s done here, people start questioning actors morality. Bear in mind that these scenes are not shot the way it’s finally seen when the movie comes out.

Nothing ever actually happens. Not with about ten people in the production crew in the room with you.

He said the aim in making movies is to enlighten people, because You want them to see exactly what’s happening in the world around them. You want them shocked into action against whatever it is you’re trying to portray.

Amstel endorses mikel & genevie ambassadors

Nigerian super eagles/chelsea star, Mikel obi and nollywood actress, Genevie Nnaji have been endorsed as the new ambassadors for Amstel malta.

The endorsement was a second in a role for the actress who recently signed a deal with telecom giant Etisalat with whooping sum of money. Genevie however expressed her excitement for the endorsement which she said was a way of motivating the youths.

The amount involved in this deal is yet undisclosed.
